Gallery Update: Scream Awards 2009 & BSG

As promised Katee did attend the Scream Awards in Los Angeles yesterday. I’ve added 19 HQ’s of the event to the photo gallery. More will be added when I find them. Be sure to tune in for the award show on Spike TV October 27 at 10/9c.

Bryan Singer to direct and produce ‘Battlestar Galactica’ movie

Battlestar Galactica is getting the big-screen treatment. Universal Pictures has confirmed blog speculation that Bryan Singer, director of Valkyrie, will take on directing and producing duties for a BSG movie. Glen Larson, who created original series back in 1978, will produce as well. The film is not expected to be a continuation of current popular television show that’s running on the SyFy network but will be a complete re-imagining of the sci-fi lore that was invented by Larson back in the 70s.

A Conversation with Katee Sackhoff

A new phone interview by Fulle Circle Productions. Katee talks about Starbucks, her new role on “24″, her older roles and how she got into acting. She also mentiones a movie role audition that she’s going to. Lets hope that she gets it.

25th Annual TCA Awards

While the Emmys may have failed to recognize more than the technical work on the recently wrapped genre-series, “Battlestar Galactica,” the series did pick up a number of accolades at the Television Critics Awards. The series took the top honor and was named the program of the year at the awards cermony over the weekend.

Congratulations to the cast and crew!!

It was “Battlestar Galactica” that received the coveted prize. The SyFy series was named Program of the Year after airing its last season this midseason. “Battlestar” is the only show winning for SyFy.

Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.5 Blu-ray

Battlestar Galactica season 4 is coming out on DVD and Blu-ray in 5 days (July 28th). Make sure you get your own copy.

The final collection of Battlestar episodes are near-perfection in 1080p. With extensive special features and extended, unaired cuts of key final episodes, including the series finale, Season 4.5 stands out as one of BSG’s best high-def presentations.

Season 4 of Battlestar begins on the heels of some massive plot twists at the end of Season 3 – the revelation that Kara Thrace (Katee Sackhoff) had somehow returned from the dead and the simultaneous discovery that Tigh (Michael Hogan), Tory (Rekha Sharma), Anders (Michael Trucco) and Tyrol (Aaron Douglas) were four of the “Final Five” Cylons, something that was as much a shock to them as it was to us. Coupled with Kara proclaiming she could lead the fleet to Earth, this season had plenty in play as it began the journey towards the end…
