Currently she has 3 tattoos:
01. On the back of her neck is a Japanese kanji symbol for 'choice' which is rarely seen in the series and one of the reasons she grew her hair longer between the mini-series and Season 2.
02. She has another tattoo of a cross on her back that is covered by large bandages whenever her shoulder is uncovered, such as in the episode "The Farm" (Christianity exists only in a different form in Battlestar Galactica).
03. She has one tattoo on her left forearm that reads "Bona fiscalia," which means "public property" in Latin. It is visible in numerous episodes.

She doesn't read the SciFi.com message boards, but she does claim to read and answer all of her fan mail.

She seriously turned to acting only after her knee injury kept her from competing in sports at her high school.
