From Zap2it

“Battlestar Galactica’s” Katee Sackhoff will face down a more human set of adversaries in an upcoming episode of “Law & Order.”

Sackhoff — who’s also starring in an NBC pilot from “Law & Order” creator Dick Wolf — is set to play a murder suspect on the long-running series, which begins its 19th season Wednesday, Nov. 5. An airdate for her episode hasn’t been set.

She’s among a number of well-known guest stars set to appear on the show, including Ned Beatty, former “ER” star Sherry Stringfield, Jena Malone, Tom Everett Scott and Vivica A. Fox.

Katee Sackhoff in Wolf-produced pilot

September 19th, 2008 • By Krista • News & Gossip, Site

• From THR.com

Katee Sackhoff is “Lost and Found” at NBC.

The “Battlestar Galactica” star has been tapped as the lead in the network’s Dick Wolf-produced pilot, created by Chris Levinson.

The hourlong “Found,” produced by Wolf Films and Universal Media Studios, centers on Tessa (Sackhoff), an offbeat female LAPD detective who, after butting heads with the higher-ups, is sent as a punishment to the basement to work on John Doe and Jane Doe cases.

The casting of Sackhoff means a firm production order for the pilot, which was picked up last month as cast-contingent.

Chris Levinson, who originally developed the show during the 2006-07 development season, is exec producing “Found” with Wolf and Wolf Films’ Nena Rodrigue and Peter Jankowski.

Sackhoff, best known for her starring role as Kara “Starbuck” Thrace on “Battlestar,” co-starred on the NBC/UMS drama series “Bionic Woman” last season.

The actress, repped by Endeavor, manager Leland Labarre and attorney Darren Trattner, next recurs on the upcoming season of FX’s “Nip/Tuck.”

Sci Fi confirms details of ‘Battlestar Galactica’ movie

August 9th, 2008 • By Krista • News & Gossip

• From The Watcher:

The Sci Fi Channel has confirmed news that I first reported in May: The network is planning another “Battlestar Galactica” TV movie.

As “Battlestar Galactica” executive producer Ron Moore said in this July interview, Sci Fi said the film will air after “Battlestar” ends its run in 2009. Other details that had leaked out about the movie — that “Battlestar Galactica” co-executive producer Jane Espenson would write it and Edward James Olmos would direct it — were also confirmed in the Thursday press release.

Sci Fi confirmed the participation of cast members Michael Trucco, who plays Sam Anders, Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol) and Dean Stockwell (the Cylon Brother Cavil).

Moore told me Olmos will appear in the film as well. The fan site Galactica Sitrep reported in July that Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck), Grace Park (Athena/Boomer) and Michael Hogan (Tigh) were also being pursued for the film, which begins production soon in Vancouver. Pictured at left are (clockwise from left) Douglas, Trucco, Hogan and Rehka Sharma. All play characters who discovered they were Cylons in the Season 3 finale of the show.
